The Role of Secretariat in International Services Processing

Secretariat is one of the three administrative units of the General Conference, the other two being Presidential and Treasury offices. Secretariat's basic responsibilities in the processing of international service employees (missionaries) are:

  1. Promotion and strategic input of the mission program of the church.
  2. Recruitment and screening of prospective international service employees.
  3. Selection and appointment of international service employees.
  4. Training and support to international service employees before, during and after their missionary experience.
